Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Small bumps Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Shoreham for me from half five til a dark 8:15pm. Started on a 4.5m and
changed down to a 4.0m soon after. If I'm honest, it sucked for most of
the time. It was very frustrating to not have enough power on the inside
or find that the waves just wouldnt stand up. No excuses though, that's
for me to sort out in my head. I stuck it out til night time by way of
pennence for switching to a smaller sail, for choosing Shoreham in the
first place and just not being on the boil. It paid off in the end: the
wind stayed strong and a little cleaner, a few waves formed up, everyone
left and I found a much happier place. Some decent hacks and whallops today
that will be good practise for a solid autumn day.
Oh, and I found, rescued and returned a kiteboard from out back.
